Ginseng

Ginseng has always been considered a youth elixir in the Traditional Chinese Medicine, thanks to its therapeutic and cosmetic effects. This plant belongs to the Araliaceae family, and the most used species is the Vietnamese Panax, the Greek word indicating the “panacea”, the remedy for all illnesses.

The main properties of Ginseng are contained in the roots, which are extremely rich in vitamins, polysaccharides and triterpenoid saponins, called ginsenosides.
Besides the adaptive, anti-stress and hypoglycaemic action, it has excellent antioxidant properties.
